Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Amberwell Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our providers and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and verify patient health history, documenting vital signs and medical information.
- Conduct physical assessments and gather health data through biological samples.
- Perform point-of-care testing and collect specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Provide patient care as directed by physicians or advanced practice clinicians, making skilled judgments based on patient presentation and protocols.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient interactions in the medical record.
- Assist other healthcare professionals with exams, diagnostic procedures, treatments, and minor surgical procedures.
- Ensure accurate patient information is maintained in the chart for quality reporting and data extraction.
- Coordinate and manage patient care, including tracking testing and referrals.
- Stay informed of insurance requirements and guidelines for patient care, performing prior authorizations and advocating for patients.
- Monitor patients to promote wellness and health maintenance, including preventative and chronic care.

Qualifications- Minimum Required Experience: Clinic experience with all ages.
- Preferred Experience: Two to three years.
- Minimum Required Education: Registered Nurse or Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.
- Minimum Required Licenses: Kansas Licensed Registered Nurse.
- Minimum Required Certifications: CPR Certification.
