Water-Wastewater Project Manager

AECOM's Water Business Line is seeking a dynamic, talented Water-Wastewater Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects from planning through design and construction. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects, including financial performance, schedule, staffing, execution, and contract closeout.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, collection and distribution systems, and client/consultant relations experience. A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering, plus 6 years of related experience, is required. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is also necessary.

The Water-Wastewater Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing water and wastewater projects from planning through design and construction
  • Providing guidance to and mentoring subordinate staff
  • Ensuring company project policies are followed
  • Participating in water community activities, including Water Environment Federation and American Water Works Association
  • Leading business development activities, pursuing new clients/projects, and managing project deliveries
