Life Sciences Process Engineering Internship

This internship is an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in process engineering, working alongside experienced professionals on various projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform mass and energy balances, and heating, cooling and flow calculations
  • Provide research and assistance to develop equipment and instrumentation specifications
  • Interact with vendors to specify, select, and develop procurement details for equipment and instrumentation
  • Develop draft User Requirement Specifications
  • Prepare equipment spec sheets
  • Develop draft Flow Diagrams and P&IDs
  • Observe construction projects to ensure designs are met
Requirements:
  • Pursuing BS or MS in Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
  • Must have completed at least 3 years of collegiate education
  • Interest working in a collaborative team environment
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
  • Previous internships are a plus
