The Role We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced process engineer to join our team in the Life Science space. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading process engineering efforts in our Lenexa, Kansas office.

The process engineer will be responsible for scoping out projects, establishing design bases, creating process flow diagrams, generating material balances, and specifying process mechanical equipment. They will also assist other discipline leads in the successful implementation of process designs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering practices, vendor requirements, and discipline engineering needs across multiple process industries. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret plant data and design processes with limited information.

We're looking for someone with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, who is passionate about delivering high-quality results and driving business growth. A PE exam pass is preferred, as is experience in operations, process start-up, or construction.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or college.
  • 8-15 years of experience in process engineering.
  • Successfully passed the PE exam.
  • Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Knowledge of lean processes.
  • Field construction and startup experience.
