Newborn Hearing Screen Specialist

Overview
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a skilled Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to join our team. As a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician, you will play a critical role in the early detection of hearing loss in newborns.
Responsibilities
- Conduct newborn hearing screens in hospital settings
- Provide education to parents about the importance of the screen
- Enter patient data and validate hearing screen results
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed, including confirming or rescheduling outpatient appointments and following up on equipment issues
Requirements
- Experience working with infants preferred
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks and assignments
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required
