Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in crafting and sustaining both proactive and reactive strategies for the Purchasing and Supply Chain Center (PSCC). Responsibilities include implementing a rotating PDCA on designated activities, establishing plans, monitoring progress, and addressing identified gaps. The role demands robust leadership and collaboration skills, both within the Business Unit and externally. It encompasses leading and engaging in extensive projects while adeptly navigating complex supplier data and situations. The incumbent will also spearhead strategy development and execute training related to their area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Department's business plan performance metrics and targets, forecast impacts, monitor outcomes, and devise gap elimination strategies to meet departmental objectives.
- Design and implement training programs for associates in affected PSCC Departments.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of current business practices and recommend improvement strategies.
- Perform in-depth root cause analysis through data examination, collaborating with impacted PSCC Departments to understand supplier situation assessments.
- Initiate regular, interactive discussions with other Business Units to ensure effective two-way communication of ideas and insights.
- Identify problem areas and formulate effective countermeasures to rectify issues or prevent potential disruptions to operations.
Candidate Profile:
Required Experience:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience, commensurate with educational background.
- Meets or exceeds the criteria for exempt level 5 roles.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Human Resources, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
