Role Overview
We invite you to join our innovative team of engineers dedicated to advancing the future of spaceflight. This position is within the In-Space Systems division, which focuses on the design, production, and operation of satellite systems that tackle one of the most significant challenges in space exploration today: space mobility.

As a vital member of our talented engineering team, you will be responsible for developing mixed-signal electrical circuitry and integrating our cutting-edge Optical Communications Terminal. This will facilitate flexible, high-data-rate optical communication links for various spaceflight applications.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Requirements:
    - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
    - Comprehensive understanding of electronics hardware development, including circuit card design and consumer electronics.
    - Experience in designing analog, high-speed digital, or mixed-signal circuits, encompassing analysis, simulation, testing, and component selection.
    - Familiarity with signal integrity, power management, and board layout principles.
    - Proficiency with SoC or Processor/FPGA boards, high-speed serial bus design, and schematic capture/PCB layout using tools like Altium Designer or Cadence suites.
    - Knowledge of various electronic components such as ADCs, DACs, OpAmps, and microcontrollers.
    - U.S. citizenship or lawful residency is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related fields.
- Over 10 years of experience in design, development, and testing, with at least 8 years post-master's degree.
- Experience with software-defined radios or modems and familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in the qualification of commercial-grade components for space applications.
- Understanding of space hardware testing standards.
