Precision Castparts Corp. Sales Manager Job Description

At Precision Castparts Corp., we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of sales and customer satisfaction, including company profitability at the top line (net margin before manufacturing variances) as it relates to the sale of forgings to domestic accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a contract administration team responsible for all business at commercial sales accounts.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives for sales revenue and profit margins.
  • Negotiate all contracts and approve all quotations issued by the managed area.
  • Direct and coordinate efforts of outside field reps to attain new business objectives and build business with existing customers.
Requirements:
  • Four year college degree in Business, Engineering, or relevant degree fields.
  • Senior level Sales, customer service, contract administration, or purchasing agent experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience in Aerospace, Energy, or Military market sales experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of mechanical engineering, forging, and/or machining.
  • Computer skills to include MRP systems, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Special Skills and Physical Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Grafton and Dillion plants.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to interface with professional staff and WG management.
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of the time if needed.
