Key Responsibilities:



Promptly acknowledges and assists visitors, addressing inquiries as needed.Manages the initiation and maintenance of patient medical records throughout their stay, ensuring accurate closure upon discharge.Facilitates follow-up actions regarding physician orders.Processes all patient and specialized charges efficiently.Acts as the primary point of contact for incoming and outgoing communications, including calls and visitor inquiries.Engages regularly with unit staff, medical professionals, visitors, and families to exchange vital information.Provides assistance to patients, which may include responding to requests and accompanying them to appointments.Handles multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, maintaining composure and accuracy amid frequent interruptions.Demonstrates sound judgment and initiative in resolving issues as they arise.Ensures timely ordering and receipt of all necessary patient and unit supplies and equipment.Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma is required; two years of college education is preferred.Proficiency in computer usage is essential.Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse medical personnel, patients, and their families.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with familiarity in medical terminology being beneficial.
