Position Overview

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of Oracle General Ledger, SLA, Federal Administration, and the processes related to Payables and Receivables. The candidate should possess expertise in Interagency Transaction Processes and Project Management, alongside a solid grasp of Federal policies pertinent to B2R functions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Budget Entry and Distribution
  • Management of Continuing Resolution Authority
  • Reprogramming and Rescinding Funds
  • General Ledger Maintenance
  • Creation and Posting of Journal Entries
  • Prior Period Adjustments
  • Reporting
  • Month and Year-End GL Account Closures
  • Documentation of Accounting Treatments and SLA Configuration


In addition, the candidate should have experience in related business areas such as Federal Payables and Receivables processing, Budget Formulation, and General and Working Capital Funds. To enhance the Federal client model, experience in the following is essential:

  • Development of functional designs for budget and reporting interfaces
  • Utilization of Auto-Accounting and sub-ledger processing
  • Mapping GL conversion requirements and data
  • Designing and implementing Federal reports
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in implementing Oracle EBS Budget to Report functionality, showcasing an in-depth understanding of Oracle Federal Administration, Payables and Receivables Processing, Interagency Transaction Processes, and Project Management.

Knowledge of Federal Budgeting Processes and Regulations is crucial, along with prior experience in:
  • Closing processes for periods (month, quarter, fiscal year)
  • Developing functional designs for interfaces
  • Designing and executing end-to-end integration testing
  • GL conversion requirements and mapping
  • Designing and implementing Federal Reports within an Oracle EBS environment

Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. The candidate will support the configuration, design, and development of B2R Global Model functionality and assist in the deployment of B2R capabilities to new agencies, providing comprehensive support throughout the project lifecycle.
