We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate CT scanners to obtain high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and effective imaging.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and imaging protocols.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
- New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Technologist (R.T.) certification.
- Prior radiology technology experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
