Key Responsibilities:
  • Staffing and Training: Develop and implement effective staffing systems, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely customer order fulfillment.
  • Error Investigation and Resolution: Investigate and establish the root cause of shipping and receiving errors, and implement corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
  • Supplier Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the annual physical inventory process, regularly scheduled cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Freight Management: Monitor and approve all freight transactions, including review of freight adders on a semi-annual basis.
  • Warehouse Operations: Develop systems, processes, and procedures to optimize equipment and related resources, including effective material movement and logistics.
  • Customer Focus: Promote a high level of customer focus and lead a Quality Managed warehouse environment, creating an environment that encourages respect, teamwork, communication, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in a warehouse environment, including supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Proven track record in a team development role, experience with order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory counts, pick/pack, and in-depth knowledge of FIFO, OSHA, Safety Awareness, and HAZMAT shipping.
  • Certifications: Forklift Certification strongly preferred.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office, with the ability to learn and master internal systems.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 a year
