Key Responsibilities
  • Shuttle Commercial Vehicles: Safely transport commercial vehicles to and from our maintenance shop and customers in the surrounding area.
  • Parts Delivery: Pick up and deliver parts from local suppliers to our maintenance shop.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by exceeding customer expectations and building strong relationships.
  • Contribute to Department Goals: Contribute to the achievement of Maintenance Shop department goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a Safe Working Environment: Ensure a safe and compliant working environment at all times.
  • Attend Management Meetings: Attend management meetings as requested.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • Commercial Driver's License: Valid Class A CDL with 1-3 years of driving experience.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and maneuver heavy equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read and follow maps, routes, and GPS systems.
  • Customer Service: Experience in providing exceptional customer service to external and internal contacts.
  • Dependability and Organization: Dependable, organized, and committed to meeting deadlines.
  • Positive Attitude: Positive attitude, good instincts, and self-motivation.
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the local geography.
Compensation and Benefits

Cox offers a competitive hourly base pay rate of $31.68/hour, with opportunities for additional compensation and benefits, including:

  • Hourly Base Pay: $31.68/hour
  • Additional Compensation: Commission and/or incentive programs
  • Benefits: Minimum of 16 hours of paid time off per month, 7 paid holidays, and additional paid time off for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
