As a Senior Acquisition Program Specialist, you will collaborate with our defense partners to support the warfighter, ensuring they acquire everything necessary for optimal operational effectiveness while aligning their mission with ours.
This role presents a chance to significantly influence our nation's defense acquisition and contracting processes.In this position, you will be responsible for drafting comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) packages, which includes identifying requirements, crafting Statements of Objectives, and developing Statements of Work.
You will finalize procurement request packages and oversee the secure storage and management of sensitive documents. Your expertise in acquisition will be crucial in navigating all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates that affect the success of each project. By fostering and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and securing necessary approvals, you will provide invaluable acquisition support.Are you prepared to enhance the processes that safeguard our nation?
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with DoD acquisition programs
Proven ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation and presentations for senior leadership review
Experience in developing or drafting Performance Work Statements (PWS) or Statements of Work (SOW)
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Navy acquisition Program Streamline Acquisition Plan (PSTRAP) preparation
Familiarity with DoD 5000 series policies, procedures, and processes
Understanding of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF)
Acquisition Professional Development Program Certification
PMP Certification
Clearance:
Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 annually.This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one aspect of Booz Allen's comprehensive compensation package for employees.
Work Model:
If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
If this position is listed as onsite, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients in person, as necessary for the specific role.
