Job Summary:
Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a highly experienced and skilled University Finance Director/CFO to lead their financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governmental and fund accounting, auditing, finance, and computerized accounting, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience in a supervisory or management capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial and accounting system controls and standards, ensuring timely financial and statistical reports.
- Advise the VP of Operations, President, and Board of Regents on financial reporting, planning, practices, financial stability, and liquidity.
- Establish, revise, and maintain a business management organization to effectively accomplish the University's goals and objectives.
- Review and recommend approval of grants, contracts, and awards.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of a management information system to track and coordinate programs funded by outside agencies.
- Develop and implement effective cash management and investment strategies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 10 years of progressive work experience in governmental and fund accounting, auditing, finance, and computerized accounting.
- 5 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant Certification preferred.
- Valid and clean state driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check with no prior convictions of any felonies.
