Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at North Shore Healthcare Support Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for a shift of duty. Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care. The Registered Nurse adheres to the standards of care for the area, manages the environment to maintain resident/patient safety, and supervises the resident/patient care activity performance by nursing assistants and helpers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing assistants and helpers to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment, including feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, and medication carts.
  • Ability to calculate drug dosages accurately.
  • Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company applications.
