Position Overview:

Support the Global Bank Network Management (BNM) team, which is tasked with overseeing agent bank partnerships that facilitate Citi's operations.

As part of the SMB&IC Operations & Technology (O&T) Division, BNM is dedicated to delivering superior banking services to our partners and clients while enhancing regulatory adherence, governance, and oversight of Citi's bank accounts. The global functions of BNM encompass: Relationship Management, Regulatory Compliance, Bank Expense Optimization, Bank Signatory Management (BSM), Third Party Risk, and In-Business Risk & Control.

The BSM function plays a crucial role in safeguarding Citi by maintaining a comprehensive signatory repository for all Citi-owned and operated bank accounts, overseeing signing authorities, and collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with the Citi Owned Bank Account and Signatory Management Procedure. Furthermore, BSM is responsible for updating and distributing bank signatory documents for the businesses supported by BNM.

Role Context:

The VP - Senior Officer of BSM Governance reports directly to the Global Head of BSM and is instrumental in executing an Enterprise-wide governance framework aimed at mitigating risks and enhancing controls for the Bank Signatory Management Standard. This role involves significant contributions to technology improvements, testing, training, communication, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert support and guidance to the team in monitoring bank signatory documents associated with Citi-owned and operated bank accounts outside of Bank Network Management.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global BSM Head to set departmental and individual objectives and offer constructive feedback on team performance.
  • Facilitate training and coaching initiatives as required.
  • Coordinate departmental deliverables and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Act as a control advocate, continuously evaluating and refining processes to enhance efficiency through process improvements and automation.
  • Contribute significantly to large-scale global BSM initiatives focused on risk mitigation.
  • Achieve results within tight deadlines while managing multiple strategic projects.
  • Support the Management Control Assessment (MCA) by maintaining BSM's MCA inventory.
  • Document system challenges and spearhead initiatives aimed at resolving technological issues.
  • Undertake additional tasks related to the role as assigned by the direct manager or functional head.
