Join Our Team as an Automotive Instructor

We are seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our team as an instructor at Universal Technical Institute. As an instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and skills of our students, guiding them to a promising career in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive learning environments for students
  • Lead by example and provide practical demonstrations of automotive repair and maintenance techniques
  • Collaborate with our education team to enhance existing courses and develop new ones that align with industry trends and advancements
  • Mentor students on their individual projects, encouraging them to think critically and find innovative solutions
  • Instill the importance of safety procedures and best practices to ensure a secure working environment for students

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of practical work experience in the automotive industry
  • Certifications: ASEs are highly valued, but if not current, we will pay for you to obtain
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient and empathetic approach to teaching
