Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical, mechanical, and structural design teams on water/wastewater infrastructure projects for public utility and private clients.
• Coordinate with design discipline managers to schedule, plan, and assign personnel.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to the MEPS Infrastructure project team and clients.
• Prepare design proposals, support project pursuits, and engage in client management and business development activities.
• Employ earned value and quality management principles to prepare and monitor project work plans, schedules, and budgets.



Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive design and project management experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in the water/wastewater market.
• Accomplished Professional Engineer (P.E.) in North Carolina, Virginia, or ability to obtain them through reciprocity within 90 days of start date.
• Experience coordinating engineering work and interfacing with other disciplines as needed.
• Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
