Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Specimen Technician II to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for processing and handling specimens, ensuring accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and handle specimens with precision and accuracy
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
  • Solve complex problems and identify issues with specimen types
  • Understand the complex relationship between test(s) ordered and received
  • Complete all required written documentation
  • Meet standards for production and accuracy
Requirements
  • Internal candidates must have a minimum of 9 months experience in the SPT I role
  • Medical background preferred, including medical terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory
  • Previous experience in a production environment preferred
