Job Title: Specimen Technician I

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Specimen Technician I to join our team in Liberty, MO.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and flexible individual to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing specimens, data entry, and preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Data entry and processing of test orders
  • Pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory
  • Centrifugation and aliquoting of specimens
  • Preparing laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing
  • Identifying and resolving issues with specimen types
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No experience required, but previous experience in a production or medical environment is preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays
