Job Title: Shelter Support Specialist

KLAP6TECHNOLOGIESLLC seeks a detail-oriented and compassionate Shelter Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for the admission, check-in, check-out, and discharge of shelter residents. Your primary focus will be on maintaining constant accountability, allowing leadership staff to respond promptly to emergencies and ensure the safety of every individual within the facility.

Responsibilities include:
• Providing administrative support for the smooth operation of the shelter.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and disinfecting of all shelter areas, as well as performing light cleaning tasks as required.
• Supporting food service operations, including management of the food service area, cleanliness of the food service and dining areas, and setup/breakdown of serving areas.

Required qualifications and training include CPR/First Aid certification, which will be offered on-site. Additionally, we will coordinate Overdose Prevention training with the state. Preferred training includes De-escalation and crisis intervention, Trauma-informed Care, and Co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Use. The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 annually.
