The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to shelter residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in their community.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Caregiver and Support Staff, you will be responsible for:

  • Admitting, checking-in, checking-out, and discharging shelter residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining constant accountability to enable leadership staff to respond to emergencies and account for every person within the facility.
  • Providing light cleaning and support to ensure the cleanliness and disinfecting of all shelter areas.
  • Assisting with light food service operations, including management of the food service area, cleanliness of food service and dining areas, and setting up and breaking down of serving areas.
Required Qualifications and Training:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CPR/First Aid certification (training will be offered on site).
  • Overdose Prevention training (we will coordinate with the state for training).
Preferred Training:

We also encourage candidates with experience in:

  • De-escalation and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Trauma-informed care practices.
  • Co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Use treatment approaches.
