Production Gating Systems Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Production Gating Systems Assembler to join our team at Precision Castparts Corp. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assembling complex gating systems in a varied and non-repetitive fashion to produce mold forms to be invested.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect patterns and determine assembly methods to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Assemble complex gating systems using torches, hot pencils, and hand tools, adhering to technique card assembly instructions.
- Modify gates by reshaping, splicing, reducing, or building up to obtain proper fit.
- Hand fabricate elementary gating from raw stock and develop code sheets for engineering-requested modifications or deviations to standard assemblies.
- Inspect assemblies during and after the assembly process to detect defects and ensure quality.
- Ability to apply pattern gating assembly techniques, methods, materials, fixturing, and construction.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with others in a team environment.
- Ability to read and follow complex written instructions.
- Ability to lift and/or maneuver objects weighing thirty to fifty pounds.
- Ability to work in conditions which may include exposure to noise, fumes, crowding, awkward physical positions, abrasions, cuts, and chemicals.
