At Precision Castparts Corp, we are seeking a skilled Production Gating Systems Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling complex gating systems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Fabrication: Assemble complex gating systems by means of torch, hot pencils, and a variety of hand tools. Weld gates into place by means of torch or hot pencil. Smoothes and gauges the area around each assembly contact by means of hot pencil, torch or paint seal.
- Quality Control: Inspect assemblies during and after the assembly process to detect defects and ensure quality.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to plant and department safety rules. Safely operates all equipment and tools. Identifies and reports safety problems.
- Technical Skills: Ability to apply pattern gating assembly techniques, methods, materials, fixturing and construction.
- Communication and Teamwork: Ability to communicate and work effectively with others. Ability to work in a team environment and promote team development.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or maneuver objects weighing thirty to fifty pounds. Ability to work in conditions which may include exposure to noise, fumes, crowding, awkward physical positions, abrasions, cuts, and chemicals.
