Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and accurate investigations, including scene investigations and witness interviews.
  • Prepare detailed and comprehensive reports, including written and recorded statements.
  • Investigate complex claims, including property theft, vehicle theft, and garaging issues.
  • Utilize photography skills to capture evidence, including accident scenes and vehicle damage.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed as a Private Investigator in the State of Virginia.
  • Reside in the Norfolk or surrounding area.
  • Have extensive experience in complex SIU/Claims investigation.
  • Be proficient in using computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Word and Windows Operating System.
  • Possess a valid state-issued driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Be able to travel as necessary and work varied/irregular hours and days.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Notary public certification.
  • Experience conducting surveillance as a Private Investigator.
  • Bilingual skills.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.
