Position Overview

Salary:
The Lead Cloud Solutions Researcher is tasked with harnessing innovative cloud technologies to address unique challenges. A solid understanding of foundational cloud architecture, orchestration, remote rendering, and the automation of cloud-focused workflows is essential.

This individual should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud computing technologies. A strong passion for product development is crucial. Daily communication with senior leadership, including the CTO and Senior Program Manager, is expected.

Key Technical Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following expertise:

  • Expertise in cloud platforms and services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly in compute, storage, networking, and security services.
  • Experience in architecting and deploying cloud solutions for real-time data processing, remote rendering, and interactive applications, preferably within the spatial computing or gaming sectors.
  • Strong skills in implementing cloud-native architectures, including the deployment of microservices, containers, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Focus on cloud cost analysis and on-demand scaling strategies.
  • Knowledge of spatial computing technologies, including augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR), and their integration with cloud services.
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and configuration management tools.
  • Experience with cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, and compliance frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of NVIDIA Omniverse (Kit Extensions, RTX, Microservices, Python, C++).
  • Experience with render streaming and cloud GPU virtual machines.
  • Familiarity with Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD), particularly Asset Resolver and cloud services.
