Job Opportunity

Are you a motivated and experienced Attorney looking for a challenging role in environmental law?

We are seeking a skilled Attorney to join our Litigation Division, where you will represent the Executive Director and TCEQ's Office of Compliance and Enforcement in administrative enforcement litigation.

Your responsibilities will include developing administrative enforcement litigation, representing the Executive Director at contested case hearings, negotiating agreements and orders, and advising agency staff on legal matters.

You will also conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and briefs for longer-term projects or matters involving novel legal issues.

Requirements:

Attorney I: Admission to the State Bar of Texas.

Attorney II: Admission to the State Bar of Texas plus three years of full-time experience in the practice of law, or employment in a responsible position involving legal work as a primary duty, or one year six months in the practice of environmental law or employment involving environmental legal issues.
