We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinic Patient Registration Specialist to join our team at Summit Orthopedics. As a key member of our patient access team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Register and schedule patients, collecting necessary medical and demographic information
- Collect and reconcile co-pays and payments, and obtain and accurately enter insurance information
- Prepare next day patient charts for teams and distribute couriered mail, postal mail, and faxes
- Communicate with teams and providers to provide a positive experience for patients
- Manage and coordinate patient pick-up items, including records and medical imaging CDs
- Coordinate interpreters and QRCs as needed
- Responsible for ensuring the patient lobby is accessible, neat, and orderly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one year customer service experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
- Basic computer proficiency and speed required
