Housekeeping Attendant Job Description

At OCI Hospitality, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Meet all cleanliness and time requirement standards established for cleaning guestrooms and other areas of the hotel, including the lobby, breakfast area, pool, fitness center, stairways, hallways, elevators, and patio.
  • Guestroom Preparation: Clean, dust, and remove waste in all areas of guestrooms, bathrooms, and public areas. Replace and provide all linens as necessary in accordance with standards, including making beds.
  • Supply Management: Replace or provide required supplies in guestrooms and public areas. Maintain an organized cart and stock cart with linens and supplies in accordance with standards.
  • Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service and respond promptly to guests' inquiries and concerns.
  • Reporting and Maintenance: Report room status and maintenance problems promptly. Perform basic maintenance skills, including plunging toilets, changing light bulbs, and unclogging drains.
  • Chemical Handling: Handle chemicals and cleaning supplies with care and in accordance with standards.
  • Laundry and Linen Management: Operate commercial laundry and cleaning equipment. Perform all tasks and functions related to laundry and linen care. Maintain appropriately stocked linen and storage rooms.
Requirements:
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
