Maintenance Technician II Job Description

Hilton Grand Vacations is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all guestroom and public space equipment, including changing filters, replacing caulk, tile/grout repair, and installing/repairing locking mechanisms and hinges.
  • Inspect rooms for pest intrusion and inspect and replace cosmetic appliance components.
  • Complete planned scheduled preventative maintenance and maintain proper functioning of all equipment and tools.
  • Maintain detailed records, logs, and inspection sheets and establish a clear line of communication with the engineering leadership.
  • Assist other maintenance staff on special projects as directed by the engineering leadership.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of general building maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of maintenance trades in order to visually inspect and detect items needing repair.
  • Moderate mechanical skills to include the use of related tools (including both hand and electric tools).
  • Ability to push and pull objects or materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, working at heights up to approximately 40 feet, for extended periods of time, with the ability to reach, often times overhead.
  • Ability to grasp, lift, or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally waist high.
  • Basic English language communication in order to communicate with co-workers and fully comprehend job assignments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
