Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Tufts Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to adult patients in our ICU setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with respiratory disorders, including those requiring mechanical ventilation.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of respiratory equipment to ensure optimal function.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
Requirements
  • Current RRT credential and licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in acute care respiratory therapy.
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
