Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with respiratory conditions, including mechanical ventilation and airway care.
  • Administer respiratory treatments and modalities, including oxygen therapy and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures to evaluate patient condition.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and training to patients and healthcare staff on respiratory care techniques and procedures.
Requirements
  • A.S. in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
  • One year of clinical training or equivalent.
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Registration (RRT) by the N.B.R.C. within six months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S. in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
  • Two years of previous critical care experience.
  • ECMO experience strongly preferred.
Work Environment

This role will work in patient care environments, including intensive care, recovery room, and emergency room. May be exposed to prolonged periods of high temperatures in burn patient rooms. May be required to stand immobile for long periods of time in emergency situations.
