At Shape Corp, we're redefining manufacturing with robotic automation. As a Fabrication Specialist, you'll play a critical role in shaping our future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow established safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Read and understand detailed blueprints to identify raw materials and organize them for processing.
  • Utilize strong Mig welding skills to assemble custom-built systems.
  • Maintain a high level of quality and efficiency in processing work released to the fabrication department.
  • Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the fabrication department.
  • Ensure accurate time tickets and E-Time system submissions.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance programs and perform light repairs on equipment.
  • Attend meetings and offer support to the Team Leader in organization, safety, and quality assurance.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Advanced blueprint reading abilities
  • Minimum 8 years of welding experience (Certified preferred)
  • Ability to learn from and train other employees
  • Pleasant disposition and ability to work with others
  • Ability to work odd hours and adapt to flexible shifts
  • Ability to travel for fabrication issues at customer facilities
  • Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment and machines in the Fabrication Dept.
