Position Title: Welder

Shifts Available: Day or Night

Work Schedule | Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p Night Shift | Monday- Friday 4p-2:45a + Saturday 12p-6p

Role Overview

As a Welder, you will be tasked with operating machinery that fabricates and repairs metal structures, tools, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on various components
  • Evaluate welded surfaces, structures, and components to detect errors
  • Adhere to and enforce stringent safety protocols, including the use of heat-resistant gloves, safety glasses, protective masks, and safety shoes
  • Monitor machinery for proper usage and temperature
  • Weld components in various positions (flat, vertical, and overhead)
  • Comply with OSHA safety regulations and ITAR requirements
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned

Required Skills

  • Proficient in reading detailed blueprints
  • Ability to identify and interpret specifications
  • Knowledgeable in geometric tolerances (recognizing all symbols)
  • Comprehensive understanding of general tolerances
  • Ability to comprehend sections and views
  • Familiarity with reference systems
  • Capable of locating and reading stock lists on drawings
  • Experience operating presses
  • Skilled in using hand tools (drill motors, grinders, etc.)
  • Adept at sawing, mitering, and fitting fabrications (fit and tack)

Experience Requirements

  • Certification in TIG and MIG welding

Educational Background

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
