Your expertise is essential. We are currently seeking:

A proficient Systems Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team, responsible for the administration and support of our core collaboration and productivity platforms. In this role, you will manage, maintain, and support critical tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Okta, Atlassian Jira, and Atlassian Confluence. Your primary objective will be to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of these systems while providing technical assistance and guidance to internal users. Additionally, you will engage in project management activities to implement necessary initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and related services.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across Office 365 and other integrated platforms.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users facing issues with Office 365, Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools (Okta/Saviynt), Jira, and Confluence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize workflows between Jira, Confluence, and other systems.
  • Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, dashboards, and reports to meet departmental needs.
  • Oversee documentation and knowledge management systems using Confluence, ensuring information is accurate, organized, and accessible.
  • Implement, configure, and maintain Okta for identity and access management, including single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Conduct regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain security and performance across all platforms.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices related to Office 365, Okta, Jira, and Confluence usage.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for systems monitoring and incident management.
  • Generate reports for senior management regarding trends and usage data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator or similar capacity, focusing on Office 365, Okta, Jira, and Confluence management.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with users at all organizational levels.
  • Intermediate to expert-level knowledge of maintaining various Linux/Windows server environments.
  • U.S. citizenship is required to comply with federal security regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Atlassian, Microsoft, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Dell PowerEdge, FX2, or VRTX systems.
  • Knowledge of automation concepts and scripting tools.
  • Experience with system integrations (REST API, Webhooks, etc.).
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence automation.
  • Project management skills for delivering comprehensive solutions.
