We are seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join our preconstruction team at Level 10 Construction. This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate and thorough estimates for commercial construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience as an Estimator/Sr. Estimator in the commercial construction industry, with a strong understanding of civil/site construction, foundation and structural systems, interior finishes, exterior wall systems, mechanical and electrical systems, and their associated costs.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards.

About the Role

  • Prepare accurate and thorough estimates for commercial construction projects
  • Evaluate drawings, building plans, specifications, and related documents to develop estimates
  • Assist in providing quantity comparison between estimate revisions
  • Develop detailed estimates and present them to owners and architects
  • Lead the buyout process and direct subcontractors
  • Coordinate preconstruction planning with design teams, contractors, and clients
  • Communicate effectively with project management teams, ownership, clients, subcontractors, vendors, etc.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as an Estimator/Sr. Estimator in the commercial construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or Civil Engineering preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of civil/site construction, foundation and structural systems, interior finishes, exterior wall systems, mechanical and electrical systems, and their associated costs
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Proficient in estimating software programs used in preconstruction: On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Destini, Timberline, Building Connected, Assemble, Bluebeam, Power BI, BIM360, Excel, Word, MS Project
