Electronics Assembler

As a skilled Electronics Assembler at Aerotek, you will play a vital role in reworking and reassembling products to meet the highest quality standards. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will ensure that every product meets the required specifications.
You will work closely with your team to verify the accuracy of instruction documents, including schematics, assembly drawings, and bills of material. Your ability to use a computer for data entry and input serial numbers into the mainframe will be essential in maintaining accurate records.
In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for packaging parts into kits for shipping, labeling and packaging products, and informing your supervisor or lead of any work-related problems. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be crucial in meeting the demands of this role.

Key Responsibilities
Verify the accuracy of instruction documents, including schematics, assembly drawings, and bills of material
Use a computer for data entry and input serial numbers into the mainframe
Package parts into kits for shipping, label and package products, and inform supervisor or lead of any work-related problems
Perform testing activities, including current checks, burn-ins, and operation of Automated Test Equipment
Verify assemblies and subassemblies against applicable documentation, verify Part Number, Revision Level, and Quantity received, and conduct routine electrical tests to sort failed assemblies from passed assemblies
Record test data and results and inform supervisor or lead of any discrepancies discovered
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of experience in electronics assembly or a related field
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
