Job Title: Neuroscience Sales Representative

Intra-Cellular Therapies, Inc. is a pioneering organization dedicated to developing innovative treatments for neuropsychiatric and neurologic disorders. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Neuroscience Sales Representative to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within their assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner. They will work closely with healthcare professionals to understand customer needs, align marketing resources, and support pull-through activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute local strategic and tactical plans to drive sales performance and achieve territory objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including primary care HCPs and select PC targets.
  • Effectively communicate clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
  • Manage assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives and customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with local market trends, practice structures, and evolving customer needs, sharing information with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists to achieve common objectives and share best practices.
  • Provide timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, and sample and expense reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • 2+ years of previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, and/or medical device sales, or 1+ year of experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical device sales plus 2+ years of documented success in B2B sales.
  • Antipsychotic and/or bipolar sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers, with a patient-centric approach.
  • High integrity and adherence to the Company's Compliance policies and procedures.
  • Strong self-motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurial spirit, with excellent decision-making judgment, teaming/collaboration, and cross-functional skills.
  • Ability to adapt to an evolving environment, such as Covid-19, to overcome obstacles and challenges.
  • Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives and diagnose performance issues.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and listening skills, with experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse customer audience.
