- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, including handling guest inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management, using clear and concise language to ensure seamless communication.
- Problem-Solving: Anticipate, prevent, and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
- Technology: Utilize the hotel's property management system and other software to manage guest reservations, check-in/check-out, and other front desk functions.
- Guest Services: Provide guests with information and assistance regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a positive and upbeat personality.
- Certifications: Basic arithmetic functions, ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, and operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Competitive Pay: $16.00-$21.52 per hour, depending on experience.
