Position Overview:

The Wound Care Registered Nurse is tasked with delivering high-quality nursing care, particularly focused on wound management for patients across all age groups. This role involves adhering to established policies and procedures, care protocols, and clinical guidelines as directed by a Registered Nurse or Physician. The RN will also participate in patient and wound care data conferences and is expected to engage in ongoing education as determined by the Program Director.

Qualifications:

Education: An Associate degree in nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Licensure: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a compact state.

Certifications:

  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Completion of the Healogics Wound Care Course is required within six months of employment.

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
