Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Meet the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural, and emotional needs of patients and families.
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team about changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in nursing is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or compact state is required.
  • BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
