Your Opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled Infrastructure Project Supervisor with at least 8 years of experience in urban infrastructure construction projects. This role is ideal for an individual eager to take on professional challenges across a range of construction management and inspection initiatives. Successful candidates will become part of a growing network of transportation professionals, contributing to the success of our Construction Management and Resident Engineering Inspection team throughout the metropolitan area.
Your Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all project activities to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Lead a team of construction inspectors, office engineers, and administrative personnel.
  • Manage project scope, budget, quality, safety, and timelines.
  • Maintain control of all construction-related permits, plans, approvals, and documentation.
  • Identify, reduce, or eliminate jobsite and public hazards through effective planning, inspection, verification, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure site conditions comply with the Contractor's Site Safety Plan, agency policies, permits, and relevant regulations.
  • Review project submissions, including quality, security, and safety plans, work plans, and schedules; validate and monitor contractor invoices for payment based on work progress.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Proven experience in resolving issues related to standard engineering and construction practices.
  • Strong technical and project coordination abilities, along with excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction, project management scheduling and estimating, as well as federal and state regulations and industry safety standards.
  • Additional certifications such as OSHA 30, CCM, ENV-SP, PMP, etc., are highly valued.
  • Proficient in personal computer use and office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Local experience with relevant agencies is preferred.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Valid professional engineering license or the ability to obtain one promptly.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction inspection or management of infrastructure projects.
