Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Stoughton Trailers. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our trailers meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various tools and equipment, including brake test machines, light testers, and aerial lifts.
  • Monitor trailer assembly lines and sub-assembly areas to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Verify conformance of trailers to company and customer specifications.
  • Record acceptance or rejection decisions and provide clear reasons for rejections.
  • Assist in the initiation of corrective action for sub-standard quality levels.
  • Maintain communication with assembly line managers and provide regular updates on out-of-specification conditions.
  • Submit continuous product quality appraisals to relevant personnel.
  • Perform tasks in a safe, efficient, and productive manner according to company policy.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of computers.
  • Fluent in English, speaking and writing.
  • Bi-lingual beneficial.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with manufacturing hourly employees and all levels of management personnel.
Training and Development

Stoughton Trailers will provide training on trailer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality assurance checking procedures. Additionally, training will be provided on operating measuring and test equipment related to the job.
