About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Administrator to join our team. As a Datacenter Administrator, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, racks, and other related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, racks, and other related equipment.
  • Provide hands-on support to servers, network, backup devices, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of data center assets.
  • Escort vendors to the data center and provide support as needed.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and P1 situations to minimize downtime.
  • Receive and ship devices, including racking appliances, switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and other equipment.
  • Support the build-out of labs and understand complex problems related to specific technologies.
  • Prepare update review run books and SOP knowledge articles on specific technology areas.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute change processes, including change implementation and standardization.
  • Support team building and onboarding efforts through mentoring and contributions.
