Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Services Technician to join our team at Northshore. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct care to patients, working closely with RNs to coordinate activities and ensure the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, performing tasks and procedures as needed to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Work under the supervision of RNs, following established procedures and protocols to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient experience.
Requirements
  • State of Illinois Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMTP) licensure.
  • Current CPR certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • A minimum of six months of recent paramedic experience in the State of Illinois.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
