Job Summary

As a Medical Assistant, you will support doctors by providing patient care and performing delegated medical tasks. You will also maintain records and administer medication and injections, as well as record vital signs.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Help with examining and treating patients under a physician's guidance
  • Prepare exam rooms, clean before and after procedures, disinfect equipment, and restock supplies
  • Talk to patients and help them prepare for medical procedures, tests, and x-rays
  • Collect data and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor vital signs and identify any signs of physical distress in patients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of high school or equivalent
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
