**Compensation:** Hourly wage of $20.46 with opportunities for overtime.

**Shift:** 10AM to 6:30PM

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Yard Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in transporting large and medium-sized items and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Drive a truck, pick up new products, and deliver them safely and on time.
  • Operate as the main Gate Attendant, responsible for access control and documentation of incoming and outgoing traffic.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on the yard truck.
  • Move trailers in and out of the dock efficiently.
  • Inspect trailers and loads as needed.
  • Make basic repairs.
  • Document all reporting requirements accurately and timely.
  • Complete assigned work by management.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and truck drivers.
  • Ensure timely movement of trailers to and from doors.
  • Maintain a clean and safe yard.

**Safety and Environmental Responsibilities:**

  • Observe and follow health and safety regulations.
  • Enforce operating instructions and safety policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of safety incidents.
  • Assign designated safety personnel.
  • Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations.
  • A clean driving record.
  • Physical fitness.
  • Hand-eye coordination.
  • Visual and hearing acuity.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
