About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our structural design team, you will be responsible for leading and managing structural projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of structural engineers and drafters to deliver high-quality designs within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions that meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project satisfaction.
Requirements
  • BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in structural design and project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in finite element modeling software (STAAD and/or ANSYS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • PE license.
  • Experience designing structures or equipment utilizing ANSYS and/or ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
  • Experience designing structures or equipment subject to dynamic loading, blast loading, and UFC Codes.
