About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Design Engineer to join our team at Jacobs. As a Senior Machine Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing Machine Design projects as part of a multi-discipline team of professionals.

The ideal candidate will have at least 20+ years of progressive Machine Design experience and be a self-motivated professional with excellent technical skills and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of engineering work through the selection and adaptation or modification of techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Analyze complex features of the work and apply machine design principles and practices, or devise new approaches in problem solutions.
  • Thoroughly review all results from assigned tasks and determine if outputs are complete, correct, integrated with project objectives, and adequately documented.
  • Develop and present technical reports, 3D concepts, presentations, and calculations to project management and clients.
  • Evaluate and define interfaces with other disciplines, working closely with structural, mechanical process, controls and instrumentation, and aerodynamics/fluid dynamics engineers.
  • Lead design team to produce complete design packages, including detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications, as required.
